Meet Jack Kim

First-generation Korean American Jack Kim opened Seoul Bite in May 2025

His goal? To bring real Korean food to Teaneck's kosher community.

When he found his location — right in the middle of one of the strongest Jewish enclaves in New Jersey — he committed to serving them right, making the whole restaurant 100% Glatt Kosher.

Seoul Bite is now the only kosher Korean restaurant outside of Israel. Jack's father still runs the kitchen with his 30+ years of real Korean cooking. The kimchi, the rice cakes, the sauces — all made from scratch, all under the supervision of the Rabbinical Council of Bergen County.

People drive up to two hours on Sundays just to eat here. Meal prep is how Jack reaches everyone who can't make the trip — and yes, his dad will deliver your meals in time for Shabbat. Mazel!
